Mrs. Julia Anne Barrett Klarer, age 60 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, August 8, 2016 at 7:28 PM at her residence.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Mrs. Klarer was born on March 4, 1956 to the late Charles E. Barrett and the late Virginia Pettus Barrett. She was the wife of the late James Duck. She was preceded in death by a sister Carolyn Barrett Smith and a brother John Charles Barrett.
She is survived by her husband Bill Klarer, a daughter Lauren Litterall Billings (Aaron) of Franklin, KY., a sister Margaret Shannon (Joel) of Houston, TX., 2 grandchildren Hannah Billings and Abigail V. Billings and a nephew Trevor Martin.
Mrs. Barrett was a former interior designer for the Drapery House in Nashville, TN. She received her B.A. degree for interior design from Western Kentucky University. She was an avid supporter of the Bluegrass Pug Rescue and member of the Port Oliver Yacht Club.
