J. T. Oates

Mr. J.T. Oates, age 72 of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 4:20 PM at his daughters residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Providence Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.

Mr. Oates was born January 19, 1946 to the late John Thomas Oates and the late Ruth Mae Leach Oates.

He is survived by his wife Annette Anderson, 6 children Lisa Regalado, Sonia Brown, Darryl Oates, Debora Dawn Carver and Shawn Oates all of Franklin, KY and John Thomas Oates of Lexington, KY, 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Mr. Oates was a member of the Hillsdale Missionary Baptist Church and was a car salesman.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until12:45 PM Friday, April 20, 2018 at Gilbert Funeral Home.
