Jonathan Clinton Marshal Vaughn

Mr. Jonathan Clinton Marshall Vaughn, age 39 of Franklin, KY., passed away Saturday, June 13, 2026 at his residence.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Cremation will follow the visitation.

Jonathan was born May 20, 1987 in Bowling Green, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Vaughn; maternal grandmother; Patsy Hornberger; paternal grandfather, Charles “Skeeter” Vaughn.

He is survived by his loving partner and best friend, Bethany House; 2 children, Hunter Vaughn and Josie Vaughn both of Franklin, KY; mother, Renee Vaughn (Jim Hudson) of Franklin, KY; a sister Bethany Bowling (Douglas) of Bowling Green, KY; maternal grandfather, Eugene Prochaska of Scottsville, KY; paternal grandmother, Joann Huizenga of Franklin, KY and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was a 2005 graduate of the Franklin-Simpson High School. Jonathan was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved spending time outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying nature. A skilled woodworker and handyman, he took pride in building, repairing, and creating things with his hands. Jonathan had a special love for children and was known for his quick wit and sense of humor, always finding a way to make those around him laugh. Football was one of his greatest passions, having played during his high school years, and he remained a devoted fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide throughout his life.

Jonathan will be remembered for his laughter, his hardworking spirit, and the love he shared with family and friends.
