Johnny Aaron Bohannon

February 13, 1934 — April 4, 2018

Mr. Johnny Aaron Bohannon, age 84 of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 6:00 AM at the Christian Health Center-Bridgepointe in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home.  A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.  Military honors will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.

Mr. Bohannon was born February 13, 1934 in Allen Co., KY to the late Joseph “Joe” Cleveland Bohannon and the late Francis Angeline Stinson Bohannon.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Wilma White Bohannon, 2 sons Steve Bohannon (Vicky) of Overland Park, KS and Dennis Bohannon (Kimmye) of Lexington, KY, 6 grandchildren Blake, Sydney, Cade, Annie, Ellen and Denny Bohannon.

Mr. Bohannon was a member of the McKendree Chapel Methodist Church, a former employee of the Holley Corp. and retired as an owner of B & W Pest Control. He was a 1954 graduate of Allen County High School and an Army veteran.

Visitation will begin Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM Sunday until service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of one’s choice.
