Mr. John Edwin Holcomb, age 71 of Bowling Green, KY., entered into rest Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 4:11 A. M. at his residence.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late John L. Holcomb and the late Annie Lee Turner Perry.
He is survived by his wife Lucy Annabelle Prowell Holcomb of Bowling Green, KY., a step-daughter Linda Rosas of Lavergne, TN.; 4 step-sons; Steve Humphreys of Cottontown, TN.,
Johnny Humphreys of Franklin, KY., Randy Humphreys and Ricky Humphreys both of San Antonio, TX. and several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
Mr. Holcomb was a consultant for Mobil Oil Company, a graduate of the University of Kentucky and a Army veteran.
