Jessie Mae Everson, a beloved resident of Franklin, KY, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 24th, 2026, at 4:54 PM, at the age of 80. Born on Thursday, April 4th, 1946, in Van Lear, KY, Jessie was known for her warmth and unwavering love for her family.

A devoted homemaker, Jessie spent her life creating a nurturing and loving environment for those around her. Her greatest joys were found in spending time with her family and attending church, where she shared her faith and kindness with all who knew her.

Jessie is survived by her loving daughter, Toni Hines and her husband Jimmy, of Franklin, KY. She was a cherished grandmother to Austin Hines and his wife, Haley, and proud great-grandmother to Walker Hines. Jessie was a beloved sister to Dorothy Williams, Milbern Hall, Donald “Duck” Hall, Launa Stevens and her husband Ronnie, and Patty Wilkerson and her husband Steve, all of Franklin, KY. Additionally, she leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Wayne Everson; her son, Wayne “Punky” Everson; her parents, Galen and Nannie (Clark) Hall; and her siblings, Gladys Caskey, Garnetta Estes, Diana Cowles McCormick, Ricky Hall, and Jerry Hall.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory in Franklin, KY. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27th, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, from 6:00 am until 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 2:00 pm with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. The service will honor and celebrate Jessie’s life, her unwavering faith, and her dedication to her family.
