Jessie Keith Clinard

Mr. Keith Clinard, age 57, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at the Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Byram’s Chapel Church, 8878 Byrum Chapel Road, Portland, TN.  Funeral services will be held the same day, Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM with interment in Portland Memorial Gardens in Portland, TN.

Keith was born on December 27, 1965 in Indianapolis, IN to the late J.C. Willard Clinard and  Janie Warden Clinard, whom survives.

He is also survived by his wife of 29 years, Tonya Forshee Clinard; 3 children, Jamie Wyatt (Josh) of Franklin, KY, Rachel Clinard of Franklin, KY and Jessie Keith Clinard II of Franklin, KY; 2 grandchildren, Luke Perkins and Izzy Wyatt; mother, Janie Warden Clinard of Portland, TN; 3 siblings, Theresa Clinard Deasy (Don) of Gallatin, TN, Laura Locke of Gallatin, TN and Kristy Clinard of Portland, TN; and many nieces and nephews.

Keith was a Deacon at Byram’s Chapel Church in Portland, TN and loved Jesus. While we know his passing is a shock to everyone, Keith told his family if he lived he lived and if he dies he lives, so there is no mistaking his faith. He worked alongside his late father at C & C Plumbing from 1995 until his father’s passing in 2010. Keith then continued the father and son tradition with Jess at C & C Pluming and also added his grandson Luke to the tradition until his passing. He was a past member of the Masonic Lodge #326 in Portland, TN.  Keith loved to fish and play golf. He so enjoyed listening to Jess sing and play music and hang out with his best buddy, Luke. Keith and Rachel shared a love for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Keith and Jamie were the best pool partners around!  Keith and Tonya were connected at the hip and they did everything together. He always said Tonya was his hero.
