Heaven gained a beautiful angel early in the morning of March 31st, known as Jennifer "Jenny" Lynn (Wink) Rohrs, age 48. She unexpectedly passed away at her residence. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and dedicated educator.

Jenny was born on June 4, 1977 in Evansville, IN to her loving parents, Linda & Scott Wink. She graduated from Reitz Memorial High School in Evansville, IN and went on to attain both a Bachelors and Masters degree in education from Western Kentucky University, which laid the foundation for her remarkable career in education. Jenny was a cherished Special Education Teacher having devoted 20 years of her life to shaping young minds at Adairville Elementary and Franklin Elementary. She loved teaching. She adored her kids and they did her. Her passion for teaching and dedication to her students was recognized by all who knew her. She was a member of Chi Omega Sorority and also the KY Teachers Association and shared her enthusiasm for learning with her colleagues and students.

Jenny married the love of her life, Ben Rohrs on March 29, 2008. They had just celebrated their 18th anniversary. Her biggest love of her life was when she became a mother to Madelyn Rohrs. She was so proud of her and would do anything for Madi. Jenny was also the best dog mom ever. Rory made her so happy and she loved taking her on walks. Outside of her professional life, Jenny found joy in gardening and spending precious moments with her family and treasured the times spent shopping with her daughter, Madelyn Rose, and watching her volleyball games.

Jenny is lovingly survived by her husband of 18 years, Ben Rohrs; her daughter, Madelyn Rose “Madi” Rohrs of Franklin, KY; her parents, Scott and Linda (Black) Wink of Chandler, IN; her father and mother-in-law, Bill and Pam Rohrs of Franklin, KY; her brother-in-law, Matthew Rohrs (Brooke) of Louisville, KY; and two sisters-in-law, Dena Deweese of Franklin, KY, and Jenna Barron (Adam) of Franklin, KY; nephews, Blake Rohrs, Jacob Rohrs, Brennan Rohrs, Barrett Deweese and Baylor Barron. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved dog, Rory.

Jenny was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Cecil and Doris Wink, and her maternal grandparents, Bettye and Paul Black and a cousin, Rachel.

Family and friends are invited to honor Jennifer's life at Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory in Franklin, KY. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 3, 2026 with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Jenny’s memory to the local Humane Society, AKA Friends of Shelter, P.O. Box 910, Franklin, KY 42135-0910, causes that were close to her heart.
