Janet Susan Law, a cherished wife, devoted mother, loving grandmother, and dear friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her home on Friday, September 11th, 2026. She was born on Monday, October 6th, 1958, in Franklin, KY, and remained a beloved member of the community throughout her life.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 21 years and partner for 33 wonderful years, Frankie Law. Her legacy lives on through her five cherished children: Matthew Law (Leigh Ann), Kyle Dinkens, Andrew Law, Joshua Law (Sarah), and Kelly Dinkens (Perrie), all residing in Franklin, KY. Her warmth, wisdom, and kindness touched the lives of her nine adored grandchildren—Bella, Jaxin, Knox, Kaleb, Luke, Christian (Emily), Taylor, Brea, and Maura—and two great-grandchildren, Ryker and Lochlynn. Susan is also survived by her beloved mother, Doris Brown Vick of Russellville, KY, and five siblings: Kevin Edwards (Donna), Tony Vick (Gail), Barry Vick (Jane), Debbie Head (David), and Mark Vick (Deann).
Preceded in death by her father, Mack Edwards; step-father, James Harry Vick; mother-in-law, Ruth Ann Law; and sister, Debbie Ford, Susan is now reunited with them in eternal peace.
Susan worked with dedication as a clerk at Kendall Company/Berry Plastics. Her passions outside of work included collecting glassware and antiquing, reading, and crafting. But her greatest joy came from spending quality time with her grandchildren, creating memories filled with love and laughter.
Susan's friendship and laughter will be missed by all who knew her, especially her special friend, Margie Bowers of Franklin, KY, and her numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers honoring her at the service will be Jimmy Law, Kaleb Dinkens, Ricky Dinkens, Christian Witt, Charlie Abston, and Luke Dinkens. Honorary pallbearers include Jaxin Dinkens, James Law, Keith Dinkens, Knox Dinkens, Steve Carr, Christopher Carr, Kyle Dinkens, Tim Gibbs, and Harry Law. In loving memory, Kurt Dinkens will serve as a posthumous honorary pallbearer.
