Mr. James David Emerson, age 92 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11:07 PM at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, September 15, 2017 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Mr. Emerson was born November 19, 1924 in Warren County, KY. to the late Dan Emerson and the late Clara Lee Pace Emerson. He was preceded in death by his sister Ida B. Lewis and a brother William N. Emerson.
He is survived his wife Willa M. Emerson, 2 sons Danny G. Emerson (Betty) and Rick Emerson (Cindy) both of Bowling Green, KY. and a grandson Mark Emerson of Bowling Green, KY.
Mr. Emerson was a member of the Franklin Church Of Christ and Southern KY. Antique Auto Club.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, September 14, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
