Mr. Jackie Lee Gregory, age 77 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 4:34 PM at his residence.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 23, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY. Military honors will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.
A native of Robertson Co., TN., he was the son of the late Robert Gregory and the late Flossie D. Gregory. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Joyce Carver and Janie Buchanon.
He is survived by his daughter Jackie Sue Helton (Jerry) and son Jeff Gregory (Tammy) all of Franklin, KY.; 3 sisters Betty Sue Toney of Portland, TN., Brenda Perdue (Freddie), Glenda Jones (Bruce) and a brother Don Gregory (June) all of Franklin, KY.; 3 grandchildren Michael Gregory, Kelsea Barton and Trevor Helton; 2 great grandchildren Adyson and Bennett Barton and special friend who was like a brother Billy Pedigo of Franklin, KY.
Mr. Gregory was a retired employee of UC Milk Company/Goldenrod of 36 years, an Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 62. He loved life, family, friends and fishing. He never met a stranger.
Visitation will begin Monday, August 22, 2016 at 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM Tuesday until service time at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
