Howard Smith

Mr. Howard Smith, age 68, of Bowling Green, KY., entered into rest Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 3:17 AM at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 15, 2017 with burial to follow in the Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Logan Co., KY.
A native of Barren Co., KY., he was the son of the late Joe C. Smith and the late Ada Lee Bush Smith. He was preceded in death by his brother Joe Thomas Smith.
He is survived by his wife Vickie Croslin Smith and daughter Kelley Smith both of Bowling Green, KY.; a brother Robert L. Madon of Pineville, KY. and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Smith was owner of J & L Chemicals, a member of the First Baptist Church and the Franklin Country Club.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 14, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until service time Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
