Helen Ruby Hammock

Mrs. Helen Ruby Hammock, age 92 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, October 13, 2017 at 12:15 PM at the Greenwood Nursing and Rehab Facility in Bowling Green, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 16, 2017 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Mrs. Hammock was born June 23, 1925 to the late Jimmy Hauskins and Roxie Brooks Hauskins. She was the wife of the late Cordell Hammock. She was preceded in death by a daughter Sharon Ann Hammock, granddaughter Wendy Michelle Mayes, son-in-law Mike Hammond and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children Billy Wayne Hammock, Linda Gayle Binion (Jimmy) and Eddie Hammock (Jana) all of Franklin, KY., Peggy Sue Hammond of Portland, TN., Sandra Mae Mayes (Emmitt) of Woodburn, KY. and Patsy Lane Webb (David) of Gardner, KS., 1 sister Willie Sullivan of Franklin, KY., 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Hammock was a member of the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church and had worked for many years in the Franklin Shirt Factory and Orlinda Shirt Factory.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, October 15, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Monday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
