Helen Louise (Konow) Creasy

Mrs. Helen Louise Creasy, age 93 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 3:30 PM at her residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2017 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

A native of Franklin, KY., she was the daughter of the late Henry Konow and the late Mamie Reed Konow.   She was preceded in death by her husband Dorchie F. Creasy, a son Bart Creasy, sister Dorothy Dowell and brother Harold Konow.

She is survived by her son Rick Creasy (Patty) of Franklin, KY., daughter-in-law Holly Creasy of Manchester, TN. and sister-in-law Lula Mae Konow of Franklin, KY.; 4 grandchildren Karen Henderson (Jim), Susan Clinard, Troy Creasy and Amy Creasy Clark (Justin).

Mrs. Creasy was a former employee of Potter & Brumfield and retired from the Siemens Corp.  She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and an active member of the AARP.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM Wednesday until funeral service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.
