Harris Wayne Carver, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14th, 2026 at 2:10 PM at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. Born on Friday, October 31st, 1958, in Franklin, KY, where he lived all his life.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carol Carver of Franklin, KY. He leaves behind four children: Jason James Dunn of Huntsville, Texas, Jonathan Wayne Carver Dunn (Allison) of Smiths Grove, KY, Kenneth “Bubba” Wayne Carver (Courtney) of Franklin, KY, and Whitney Nicole Carver (J.W. “Jay” Key) of Franklin, KY. His legacy is further carried on through his treasured grandchildren: Paige Beron, Beau Beron, Kolten Drake Dunn, Hannah Dunn, Conner Shane Adams, Hunter Wayne Adams, Brenlon Wayne Gage Joyce, Chloe Grace Carver, and Kambri Rae Carver.

Wayne is also survived by his siblings Steve Carver of Franklin, KY, David Carver (Ronda) of Franklin, KY, Carroll Carver of Franklin, KY, Darryl Carver (Debbie) of Franklin, KY, Melissa Carver of Franklin, KY, David Wayne Mittellstrauser of Frankin, KY, Sandy Lile (Kevin) of Franklin, KY and Wanda Binion of Franklin, KY, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harris B. Carver and Margaret Joyce (Gregory) Carver, his daughter, Dana Alford, and siblings Debbie Carver, Gary Carver, and Robert Allen Carver.

A tow motor operator for DHL, Wayne was a hard worker. Outside of work, Harris found joy in his garden, loved John Deere lawn mowers, and he delighted friends and family with his passionate karaoke performances.

The family welcomes friends for visitation at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory in Franklin, KY, on Monday, February 16th, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026, from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service to honor Wayne’s life will be held at the same location on Tuesday, February 17th at 1:00 pm. His pallbearers will be Jeff Gregory, Jeff Carver, Randall Carver, J.D. Carver, Chris Graves, Craig Coleman, and Craig Gray.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne's memory may be made to the Hospice of Southern Kentucky, 5872 Scottsville Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42104.
