Mr. Grider Newton Graves, age 83 of Franklin, KY. entered into rest Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 1:00 A.M. at his residence.
A native of Warren Co., KY., he was the son of the late Clarence Graves and the late Fannie Shelton. He was preceded in death by a daughter Dorothy Adams and grandson Calvin Daniel Davis; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his companion Willa Dean Ausbrooks and a daughter Cathy Belcher both of Franklin, KY.; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Mr. Graves was a farmer and an Army veteran of the Korean war. He was the oldest member of the American Legion Post 62.
