Mr. Fred Williams, age 91 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 4:05 A. M. at the Medco Center in Franklin, KY.
A native of Cookeville, TN., he was the son of the late Fletcher Williams and the late Vallie Bartlett Williams. He was preceded in death by a grandson Kevin Rhea.
He is survived by his wife Christine Williams, 4 daughters Barbara Ann Rhea, Jo Betty Gillespie, Brenda Jean West all of Franklin, KY. and Susan Williams of Portland, TN., a son Freddy Williams of Franklin, KY., 2 step-children Charles Gregory of Plainfield, IL. and Gail Strain of Orlinda, TN., 3 sisters Pauline Perry of Portland, TN., Christine Eecloo of Canada and Lorene Atkins of Glasgow, KY., 9 grandchildren Kim Skipper, Jennifer Dickerson, Debbie Suddarth, Angela Brockman, Holly Moyers, Heather Hall, Racheal Condon, Emily and Zachary Smalling, 6 step-grandchildren Kyle, Chad and Katie Gregory, Pete and Josh Strain and Tammy Johnson, 8 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.
Mr. Williams attended Eastside Missionary Baptist Church, he was a farmer, worked in construction and was a former supervisor for the road dept. for state of Kentucky.
