Frances Gilbert Russell

Mrs. Frances Gilbert Russell, age 94, of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 3:08 P. M. at the Hopkins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Woodburn, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Wesley Gilbert Myrtie Barker Gilbert. She was the wife of the late William Allen Russell.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Mrs. Russell was a member of the Sulphur Spring Baptist Church since 1928, she was a Kentucky Colonel, member of the VFW Post 5706 Auxiliary and a longtime clerk of Gillespie Dry Goods Co.
