Eva Jeanette Holleman

Eva Jeanette Holleman, a beloved resident of Franklin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 10th, 2026, at the age of 90 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY. She was born on Thursday, July 16th, 1936, in Macon County, TN. Eva led a life full of love and dedication to her family

Eva is remembered fondly as a dedicated real estate agent who spent 23 fruitful years being self-employed in a career that she loved. Her professional life also included roles in banking and as a secretary which displayed her versatile talents and tenacity.

She was preceded in death by many cherished family members including her parents, Edwin Aldene Wooten and Ercie Flossie (Krantz) Wooten, her devoted spouse of 64 years, Paul Terry Holleman, her son Joseph Terry Holleman, her twin sisters, Joan Louise Escue and Joann Steward, her brother, Edwin Earldene Wooten, her half-brother, Edwin Aldene Wooten Jr, and two half-sisters, Juanita Wooten and Jewel Gann Coker.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her son, Paul Marcus Holleman of Franklin, KY; her five cherished grandchildren, Jason Holleman, Michael Holleman, Christopher Holleman, Caleb Holleman, and Destiny Holleman; three beloved great-grandchildren, Matthew Holleman, Nicholas Holleman, and Alexia Holleman; her precious great-great-granddaughter, Mylah Grace Holleman, and great-great-grandson, Bvorn Marcus Holleman. Eva is also survived by her two caring half-sisters, Anita Spears and Carolyn Duvall.

Those who bore the honor of acting as pallbearers will include her beloved grandchildren Matthew Holleman, Christopher Holleman, Caleb Holleman, Destiny Holleman, Michael Holleman, Jason Holleman, and a close family friend, Jimmy Hightower.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 13th, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Friday, August 14th, 2026, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory in Franklin, KY. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 2:30 PM with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
