Essie Lee Embry

Mr. Essie Lee Embry, age 75, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.

Mr. Embry's wishes are to be cremated. His family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.

Lee was born on March 27, 1950 in Morgantown, KY to the late Lucian and Lorine Embry. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Pete Embry, Vester, Wilma "Midge" Shepard, Wilda "Dinky" Bratcher, Martha Garner, and Pam Hudson.

He is survived by wife of 41 years, Joyce Embry; step-son, Brian Beechum of Franklin, KY; step-daughter, Crystal Cummings of Franklin, KY; a brother, Vester Embry (Sue) of Ohio; and his canine companion, Lucy Lou.

Lee was a graduate of Butler County High School in Morgantown, KY and a veteran of the US Marine Corp. He attended Macedonia Baptist Church in Simpson County, KY and was retired from FPI as a Quality Control Engineer. Lee enjoyed watching tv and being with his dogs.
