Mr. Ed “Weenie” James age 69 of Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
A native of Simpson Co., KY, he was the son of the late Denver James and the late Lottie Hughes James. He was preceded in death by a brother Jesse Wayne Ferhle.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Stewart James, his paternal grandmother who raised him after his parent’s death, Mrs. Ada Belle James of Franklin, KY. 3 daughters Angie Rogers and her husband Kevin, Casey Gammons and her husband Kyle and Megan Smith all of Franklin, KY., 3 Brothers Bobby James of Russellville, KY., Jody James of Franklin, KY. and Howard Redman James of Franklin, KY., 2 sisters Doris Gibbs of Scottsville, KY., and Margaret Matthews of Indianapolis, IN., 2 Grandchildren Tyler Roberts and Conner Rogers.
Mr. James was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ and was a retired plumber and a veteran of the Army; he was a member of the American Legion Post # 62 and V.F.W. Post 5706.
