It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dylan Dakota Wix, who left this world on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026, at the age of 27. Dylan was born on Monday, August 10th, 1998, in Sumner County, Tennessee.

He is suvived by his wife of three years, Summer Wix of Russellville, KY, and a loving father to their three precious children, Ryker Wix, Levi Wix, and Jenna Lou Wix. He is also survived by his siblings, Timothy O. Wix, Jr., David Ryan Wix, Brian Neil Wix, Caleb Daniel Wix, and Kaitlyn Paige Wix all of Portland, TN; along with eight nieces and nephews.

Dylan was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy Owen Wix, Sr. and Jennifer Charlene (Moran) Wix, as well as his maternal grandparents, Charles Wayne Moran and Peggy Moran, and his paternal grandparents, Billy Joe Wix and Shirley Jean Wix.

A 2016 graduate of Portland High School, Dylan found his calling as a welder and fabricator, working diligently at Stewart & Richey. He was known for his infectious humor, often joking and cutting up with his friends at work. Dylan had a profound love for fishing and hunting and cherished the moments he spent with his children and family.

The family will receive friends and family for visitation at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory in Franklin, KY, on Friday, March 27th, 2026, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at the same location at 3:00 pm. Pallbearers honoring Dylan's memory will include Gabriel Dowdy, Ricardo Espinoza, José “Street Corn” Espinoza, Caleb Wix, Oscar Recinos, and Michael “MJ” Haynes.
