Mrs. Dorothy Coats Gaines, age 84 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at her residence.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Coats and late Bessie Dee Caudill Coats. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis V. Gaines.
She is survived by a sister Helen Coats Mitchell of Bowling Green, KY; sister-in-law Willa Brown (Carline) of Franklin, KY.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a great community of many friends.
Mrs. Gaines was a retired employee of the Kendall Co., member of the Franklin First Baptist Church, supporter of Right to Life and Good Samaritan.
