Mrs. Doris Delno Moore, age 97, of Franklin, KY passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a private graveside service.
Doris was born on November 24, 1926 in Macon County, TN to the late Robert Stubblefield and the late Deltha Newberry. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Moore;1 daughter, Peggy Grace; 1 son-in-law, Joe; 3 siblings, Daffo Murray, Dovie Sexton and Reggie Stubblefield.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara Uhls (Gene) of Columbus, GA and Debbie Gleason of Franklin, KY; 5 grandchildren, April, John, Adam, Brian and Lenora; and 6 great-grandchildren, Hayden, Wesley, Jacob, Alex, Fran and Lennon.
Doris was a member of Church of Christ in Franklin, KY. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and sewing.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Potter's Children's Home, 2350 Nashville Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42101 or Hosparus Health of Barren River, 101 Riverwood Ave., Suite B, Bowling Green, KY 42103-9981. Envelopes will also be provided at the funeral home.
