A former Franklin, KY. resident, Mr. Donald Ray Hesson, age 62 of Springfield, TN., entered into rest Sunday, December 6, 2015 at his residence.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2015 with burial to follow in the Old Brush Cemetery in Portland, TN.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late Hubert Murtray Hesson and the late Christine Dobbs Hesson. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Nina Hesson and Mary Hesson Walden, 2 brothers Billy Wayne and Junior Hesson and a son-in-law Eric Hulsey.
He is survived by his wife Melissa McDonald Hesson, 2 children Heather Hulsey Oden (Nickolas) of White House, TN. and Josh Hesson of Orlinda, TN., 6 brothers Joe Hesson of Auburn, KY., Kenneth Hesson of Alvaton, Ky., Harold, Gene, Randy, and James Hesson all of Franklin, KY., 5 sisters Linda Daniels of Muncie, IN., Kathy Sparks, Brenda Wimpee and Arzella Jent and Lorene Finn all of Franklin, KY.; 3 grandchildren Lane and Colby Hulsey and Cannan Oden; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hesson was a former employee of Gunter Roofing.
Visitation will be from 5:30 P.M. until 9:00 PM Tuesday, December 8, 2015 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
