Chelsea Brown, age 31, of Franklin, Kentucky., died Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11:33 PM from injures suffered in an automobile accident.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 6, 2017 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Ms. Brown was born March 31, 1986 to Bobby and Teresa Brown of Paducah, KY. Her maternal grandfather Billy Chaffin preceded her in death.
She is survived by a brother Corey Brown and wife, Emily of Louisville, Kentucky, maternal grandmother Joyce Chaffin of Franklin, Kentucky., paternal grandparents Suel and Dolly Brown of Franklin, Kentucky, 2 Aunts Kathy Baxter and husband, Russell of Franklin, Kentucky, and Bridgette Crawford and husband, Mike of Franklin, Kentucky, 3 cousins Caitlin Crawford, William and Charles Baxter and her two pet dogs, whom she thought of as children, Carmen and Callie.
Ms. Brown was employed in the Human Resource Department at Misa Metal Processing in Portland, Tennessee. She was a 2004 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School where she played basketball for 4 years. She played basketball at Centre College for 1 year and then transferred to the University of Louisville where she received her Bachelors Degree in Political Science. She loved to watch movies, play corn hole and coaching little league baseball.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Thursday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
