Mr. Charles W. Moody, age 82 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 1:20 AM at the Franklin-Simpson Nursing and Rehab in Franklin, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 24, 2015 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery with military honors by the Simpson County Honor Guard.
A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late Edgar Trousdale Moody and the late Oma Pearl Adamson Morton. He was preceded in death by a son Joseph David Moody.
He is survived by his wife Lorre Moody, a daughter Kim Perdue (R.H.) of Franklin, KY., a sister Debbie Freas (Larry T.) of Franklin, KY., 2 grandchildren Chris Perdue and Lesley Perdue and a great grandchild Rylan Perdue.
Mr. Moody was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ and an Army Veteran and a retired salesman for a newspaper and former owner of a carpet cleaning service.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00PM Wednesday, September 23, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Thursday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
