Mr. Charles E. Key, age 75 of Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Friday, July 15, 2016 at 3:02 PM at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, July 18, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., KY. he was the son of the late James Martin Key and the late Sarah Emaline Richardson Key. He was preceded in death by a sister Lorene Houchens and a nephew Donald Jett.
He is survived by his wife Judy Key, a son Brent Key of Franklin, Ky., 3 sisters Margaret Jett of Franklin, KY., Bricie Key of Louisville, Ky., Dorothy Crank of Crab Orchard, KY., 2 brothers James Key of Woodburn, KY. and Ralph Key of Franklin, KY., several nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.
Mr. Key was a member of the Round Pond Presbyterian Church and retired factory worker.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM Sunday, and from 6:00 AM until service time on Monday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
