Charles Dean Spears, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who peacefully departed this world on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on Friday, June 7, 1946, in the quaint town of Bethpage, TN.
Charles is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Sherry Spears. Their enduring love stands as a testament to a life filled with warmth, commitment, and shared dreams. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, including their daughter, Sandra Culver, and son-in-law, Ron, of Chestnut Mound, TN. His legacy continues through his three grandchildren, Charles “Chas” Eugene Spears, Ronald “Ronnie” Culver, and Krystal Culver, and his nine adored great-grandchildren, Dakota Spears Beal and husband Josh, Peyton Spears, Corbin Spears, Abigail Culver, Elizabeth Culver, Alice Spears, Sarah Culver, Lucas Myers, and Anthony Culver.
In addition to his immediate family, Charles is survived by his sister, Barbara Faye Harmon, and her husband Mike, of Clarksville, TN, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Tandy Edgar Spears and Maddie Lucile (Anderson) Spears; his son, Charles Randy Spears; sister, Elizabeth Trout Sadler; and brothers, Walter “Buck” Spears, Paul “Buddy” Spears, Donald Spears, Hugh Allen Spears, Robert Franklin Spears, and Michael Eugene Spears.
Charles dedicated his career to IMI Concrete, where he worked for many years as a Plant Manager. He was known for his dedication and leadership.
Outside of his professional life, Charles had a passion for reading, finding solace and adventure within the pages of Louis L'Amour western books.
Charles's wishes are to be cremated with no services.
