Mr. Cecil C. McMillin, age 82 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 6:00 AM at the Franklin-Simpson Nursing and Rehab in Franklin, KY.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 23, 2016 with burial to follow in the Orlinda Cemetery in Orlinda, TN.
A native of Robertson Co., TN. he was the son of the late Clarence C. McMillin and the late Gladys Gregory McMillin. 3 brothers Ray Dean, Howard and Martin McMillin preceded him in death.
He is survived by 3 sons Michael McMillin, Steve McMillin (Stephanie) and Dan McMillin (Tara) all of Franklin, KY., 3 daughters Brenda Hackett (Roger) and Barbara Gehret (John) both of Franklin, KY. and Dana Hollis (Dustin) of Clarksville, TN., a brother Charles McMillin of Franklin, KY., 2 sisters Paulette Graves and Hazel Stewart both of Springdale, AK., 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Mr. McMillin was a member of the Salmons General Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver for Thurman Trucking and Moody Trucking.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Sunday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
