Mrs. Brenda Kaye Saylors Huckaby, age 69 of Franklin, KY, entered into rest March 22, 2018 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home.  Mrs. Huckaby wishes were to be cremated with no services.

Mrs. Huckaby was born March 2, 1949 in Scottsville, KY. to the late Isaac Raymond Saylors and the late Verda May Sloan Huckaby.  She was the wife of the late Huey Lee Ward Huckaby, Sr.

She is survived by her children Alfonso Ray Huckaby, Sr. of Franklin, KY, Huey Lee Huckaby, Jr. of Hartville, MO and Anita Kaye Huckaby of Franklin, KY., 6 grandchildren Maelyn Kaye Huckaby, Rachel Ann Huckaby, Alfonso Ray Huckaby, II, Kaylee Ranee Huckaby, Justin Ray Lawson and Destiny Nichole Holleman, 4 great grandchildren Charleston huckaby, Jack Swift, Athena Wilson and Leland Sanders, 2 sisters Sandra Johnson of Scottsville, KY, Phyllis Rogers of Franklin, KY and a brother Raymond Wayne Saylors, Sr. of Scottsville, KY.

Mrs. Huckaby was a member of Stony Point Church in Allen Co., KY and American Legion Auxiliary.
