Brenda Faye Forshee

Mrs. Brenda Faye Forshee, age 77, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 4:04 AM at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 804 Church Street in Franklin, KY. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21st at 11:00 AM at the church with interment to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Brenda was born on September 24, 1948 in Allen County to the late Bill Howard and the late Hazel (Beller) Howard. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Howard.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Russell Forshee; one daughter, Shelly Buckner of Franklin, KY; two grandchildren, Bailey Buckner and Blake Buckner; three sisters, Julie Traughber (Nickey) of Franklin, KY, Judy Graves of Franklin, KY and Jan Howard of West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Brenda was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Franklin, KY. She was a woman who lived with unwavering devotion to her husband, daughter and grandchildren. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and loved so deeply.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 804 Church Street, Franklin, KY. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home and church.
