Bobby C. Phillips

Mr. Bobby C. Phillips, age 79 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 4:20 AM at the Medical Center in Franklin, KY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Franklin First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

Mr. Phillips was born February 6, 1937 in Simpson Co., KY. to the late Cecil Everett Phillips and the late Oma Ann Mayes Phillips.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Phillips,  2 sons Chip Phillips (Cindy) and Chad Phillips all of Franklin, KY., a sister Nadine Gregory of Franklin, KY., 5 grandchildren Jason Phillips (Lacey), Scott Phillips, Lauren Pinson (Eric), Joshua Phillips (Dee Dee), Eric Phillips, a great granddaughter Carlee Elizabeth Pinson and a great grandson Daniel Reed Phillips, 2 brother-in-laws James Draper (Sheri) and Don Kirby (Gala).

Mr. Phillips was a member of the Franklin First United Methodist Church.  He was 1955 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School and a retired farmer.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, September 23, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Saturday at the Franklin First United Methodist Church.
