Bobby Wayne Dodd

Mr. Bobby Wayne Dodd, age 66 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 7:30 AM at his residence.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where a Memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2017.  Cremation was chosen.  Military honors will be conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.

A native of Simpson Co., KY., he was the son of the late William Edward Dodd and the late Dorothy Evelyn Carter Dodd.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Jean Marklin Dodd, 3 daughters;  B. J. Chandler (Jared) of Franklin, KY., Lea Ann Henderson (Matt) and Mary Beth Glass (Larry) all of Bowling Green, KY., a sister Wanda Carol Perkinson of Franklin, KY.;  9 grandsons Zach, Trevor, Aaron Henderson, Seth Ferguson, Jacob Clark, Jacob Chandler, Jared Wayne Chandler, Dylan Glass, Justin Glass and 2 granddaughters Emily Clark and Jessica Chandler.

Mr. Dodd was a farmer and owner of Dodd Brothers Farms.  He was of the Baptist faith, an Army veteran and a member of the National Rifle Association.

Visitation will begin Monday, January 2, 2017 at 1:00 PM until service time at Gilbert Funeral Home.
