Carolyn Proctor

Ms. Carolyn Proctor, age 79, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory.  A graveside service will be held the same day, Monday, February 19th at 2:00 PM at Sulphur Spring Cemetery, 2504 Sulphur Springs Road, Franklin, KY.  

Carolyn was born on October 19, 1944 in Franklin, KY to the late Earl Johnson and Louise (Henderson) Johnson.

She is survived by 1 son, Brian Proctor (Kim) of Bowling Green, KY; 4 grandchildren, Kaleb Miller, MaKayla Miller, Macy Proctor and Connor Proctor; 2 sisters, Nancy Dowdy of Franklin, KY and Susan Houchens (J.R.) of Bowling Green, KY; 1 brother, Robert Johnson (Judy) of Franklin, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was 1962 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School.  She was a member of Franklin First United Methodist Church. Carolyn was retired from Tyco Electronics.  She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed late night television especially QVC.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky, 5872 Scottsville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42104.  Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
