Mrs. Bertha Irene Vaughn Gosnell age 69, of Franklin, Ky., entered into rest Sunday, November 1, 2009, at 8:14 P.M. at the Auburn Nursing Facility in Auburn, KY.
A native of Simpson Co., Ky. she was the daughter of the late John Davis Vaughn and the late Eddy Louise Swaw Vaughn. She was preceded in death by a grandson Chad Gosnell, a sister Bobbie Gosnell and 2 brothers Randall “Mickey” Vaughn and Charles “Skeeter” Vaughn.
She is survived by 3 sons Michael Wayne Gosnell of Portland, TN., John L. “Bebo” Gosnell and Terry Len Gosnell both of Franklin, KY., 3 sisters Johnnie Tucker of Laverne, TN., Evelyn Keen and Billie Hopkins both of Portland, TN., 3 brothers John Wesley Vaughn of Portland, TN., Jimmy and Garland Vaughn both of Cross Plains, TN. 2 Grandchildren Josh and Joseph Gosnell, 2 Great Grandchildren Caleb and Joshua Gosnell and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Gosnell was a member of the Byrums Chapel Church and was former employee of Jr. Food Mart, Kato’s and Jim Dandy’s Food Mart.
