Beaulah Estelle Hanley

Beaulah Estelle (Freas) Hanley peacefully passed away on September 24, 2026. Born on July 7,1934, to the late Beulah and Leslie Freas, in Franklin, Kentucky, she was a gentle, petite woman who was devoted to her family, community, and country.

Estelle was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary serving as treasurer for 38 yearswith perfect attendance at unit meetings for 22 years, and awarded the Unit member of theYear for her dedication to service members and their families. She was also the pianist at Salmon’s General Baptist Church for a number of years sharing her gift of playing by ear while worshiping with the congregation.  After attending Franklin-Simpson High School, she went onto work at the Kendall Company for 30 years before retiring in 1993.

Estelle was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse Hanley, 4 sisters, 5 brothers, and daughter-in-law, Pam Binion. She is survived by four sons, Alan Rowland (Dee Carol), Tommy Rowland (Leanna), Wesley Rowland (Pam), and Randy Rowland; 8 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
