Mrs. Annie Mae Poteet., age 81of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, August 5, 2016 at 2:40 AM at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 8, 2016 with burial to follow in the Stateline Church Cemetery in Sumner Co., TN.
A native of Logan Co., Ky. she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Wilson Gregory and the late Ethel Cleo Rogers Gregory. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters Kathy Sue Poteet and Sherry Darlene Cowles.
She is survived by 6 children, Judy Carol Law, James Wilson Poteet (Debbie), Roxanne Boyer (Roger), Lisa June Mallard, Paul Alan Poteet (Tiffiany Borders) and Michael Poteet(Tammy) all of Franklin, KY., a sister Virginia Louise Baker of Franklin, KY., 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Poteet was a member of the Stateline General Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, August 7, 2016 and from 6:00 AM until funeral service time on Monday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
