Anna Jean Drake

Mrs. Anna Jean Drake, age 87 of Franklin, KY., entered into rest Friday, August 12, 2016 at 3:15 AM at the New Haven Assisted Living in Franklin, KY.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, August 14, 2016 with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.

She was born September 29, 1928 in Sumner Co., TN. to the late George James Meador and the late Rosie Lee Forbis Meador.  She was the wife of the late Robert “Bob” Drake.  She was preceded in death by grandson Lee Eric Drake and sister Doris Dillard and brother Mitchell Meador.

She is survived by a son Don Drake (Sandy) and a daughter Sandra Cornwel(Bobby) all of Franklin, KY., 4 grandchildren Michael Cornwell, Stephanie Cornwell, Candy Huddleston and Ben Drake; 6 great grandchildren Keighan, Liam, Dylan and Harper Cornwell, Elizabeth Ann Huddleston and Bennett Drake.

Mrs. Drake was a member of the Franklin First Baptist Church and retired from Potter and Brumfield.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until funeral service Sunday at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home.
