Betty Carol (Kinslow) Krantz

Mrs. Betty Carol Krantz, age 84, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Thursday, July 27th, 2023 at 9:12 PM at the Hopkins Nursing Facility in Woodburn, KY.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM til 8:00 PM at Bethany Church of Christ, 2760 Hickory Flat Gold City Rd., Franklin, KY 42134 in Simpson County, KY. Visitation will continue on Monday, July 31st, from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the church. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31, at 1:00 PM at the church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Betty was born on July 5, 1939 in Franklin, KY to the late Carlos Kinslow and the late Essie Brown Kinslow. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Kinslow.

She is survived by her spouse of 66 years, Eugene Krantz; 3 children, Jeff Krantz (Christine) Hardin, KY, Kevin Krantz (Jill) of Nolensville, TN and David Krantz (Kim) of Richpond, KY; 4 grandchildren, Sara Beth Coleman (Christopher), Hannah Hall, Zachary and Garrett Krantz; 1 great-grandson, Asher Coleman; 2 sister-in-laws, Patty Kinslow and Peggy Cummings (Floyd); a brother-in-law, Leon Krantz and 8 nieces and nephews.

Betty was a member of Bethany Church of Christ and a 1957 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School. She was a retiree of the ASCF office in Simpson County, KY. She was strong in her faith and loved her family.
